I heard he commited suicide but have seen no official report...
a very sad direct result of the war - but makes me wonder what nightmare he could have been suffering inside his own country to force him to continue his job...
do you think he was serious about his comments? he must have known they were nonsense? but if you knew that - why would you take your own life?
can anyone confirm this either way?

phaze we are all just hoping he pops up on tv alive and well soon.
he was either a genuine nutter, driven by religion, other beliefs or plain derranged mentality or he simply lived in fear....
time will tell
