"unplayable" - adist - 3rd January 2011

I keep hearing this word used re footballers, eg "on his day Kenwyne Jones is unplayable" and it's beginning to get really irritating. I don't remember this phrase existing a year ago? It's meant to mean that the player is too good to play against but to me it sounds like it should mean the player is rubbish or injured and so he shouldn't be played.

I concur. Your argument is unagreeable.
