Alright people,
Whether you are a Liverpool FC fan or otherwise. Whether you are a football fan or otherwise. Whether you are a sports fan or otherwise....this could have been your friend, brother, sister, father, mother, cousin, niece or nephew.
I'm writing this post to ask you for 2 minutes of your time to sign a UK government e-petition for a new inquest into the death of Kevin Williams.
Amongst the 96 fans who never returned from the FA cup semi-final of Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough stadium in Sheffield, was a 15 year old lad called Kevin Williams.
There are major flaws and inconsistencies with the coroners verdict on his death, and despite his family having substantial new evidence, they keep having request for a new inquest turned down - his mother, Anne Williams, needs 100,000 signatures on this petition to have a parliamentary debate.
The petition closes at midnight GMT Thursday 19th January.
Quote:Kevin Williams died in the Hillsborough disaster in1989, Kevin's Inquests were riddled with coruption, suppressing of vital evidence and perverting the course of JUSTICE, Kevin did not die from Traumatic Asphixia or in an accident I will not pick up his death certificate until we get the cause of death put right and the accidental death verdict struck down. Kevin does not relate to the 3.15pm cut off point. I want a new inquest were all the witnesses will be called to give evidence so the jury will know exactly what happened to Kevin at Hillsborough. I have all the evidence under section 13 of the coroners act and have been refused 3 times by the attorney generals office, I want the Attorney General to look at the evidence again and send Kevin's case back to the divisional court recomending a new inquest into the death of my son.
Please, please, please take 2 minutes of your time to sign this petition, and help bring one family closer to the end of a 20+ year journey toward justice for their lost son.
