This time around we bring you a few bangers from Eschaton
singular - This song has a great 80's electric vibes. A steadily progressing rhythm morfs into a sonic trip through electroland. Well placed hits with just the right pads make it a side journey from the norm but a welcome break from your typical DnB release. Put on a good pair of headphones, crank it up and tune out.
Eclipse - More along the lines of a DnB release, Eschaton delivers an excellent assortment of scattered beats and old west wahs. The beats wind down the dusty old roads waiting to find it's watering hole. This song delivers a steady beat while mixing it up with the background ambience. Solid drumwork ready to make any head sway.

For SC:Digital 007, the first release for SCD since the site relaunch, I managed to secure two tracks from long time SC Forum member Will 'Escher' Hansen.
'Boomka Boomka' is a militant (remember way back when tunes used to be described as militant?) and moody stepper, building up steam with a skanky rolling offbeat step to it that's slowly and gradually joined by a variety of buzzing industrial mechanical sounds, vaguely menacing screeches bleeps and warps, stops and starts, and some rather nice strings that give the kind of rough-with-the-smooth vibe rarely done right this side of the nineties. Fans of the moodiness and the general sonic palette of earlier prototype sound would be well advised to check this.
The second track 'Hi-Tek' starts off with a seriously tight rolling break that is soon joined by a dreamy combination of harmonious reverbed pads, the celestial vibes anchored firmly to the floor and the gut by the intermittent snarls of the deep midrange and the gradually evolving percussive elements. The second drop flips things in a different direction with the addition of some strings, a breathy but sparingly employed female vocal and some further percussion... Serious deepness from this up and coming producer, if you're digging the vibes from the more forward thinking end of the liquid spectrum then this is the sort of tune you can't do without - they'll be dancing with their eyes closed, trust!
Thanks to Tyranny for the track descriptions, and thanks to Voi for the great artwork accompanying the release.

Pilote give you the first SC:Digital release of 2006.
Pilote, who are most notable for their releases on Certificate 18 and having tracks featured on compilations from labels such as Brighton's Tru Thoughts and Luminessence, deliver two melodic uplifting tunes.
The A side 'Remover' kicks off with a funky upright bassline along with some snappy drums. Choppy and chirpy vocals roll along with the bass as the track progresses into some drifting pads and melodic bell synths. 'Remover' is one to pour up a drink, lay back and relax to, or equally one to get up and groove to.
'Kratez' the flip, is a light and floaty journey through some lush pads, minimal bass, sweet subtle effects, and fluffy melodies. Excellent stuff to unwind to.

SC:Digital 005 comes from Dissident, a name which is becoming more and more associated with quality music.
Having already had numerous releases on labels such as Renegade Hardware, Exegene, Fear Red, the Russian TAM Records (which he is a co-owner of), he drops SC:Digital a couple of tracks in warm up to his release on Subvert Central (SC006).
Lower Astral features many of the Indian influences you'd find all over Dissident's tracks, along with his subtle effects and intensely crisp drum breaks and percussion.
The flip, Oneiroid Psychosis retains the same dark atmospheric vibes, but this time goes much more moody and sinister. Squelchy synths and rumbling basses rip through the sharp drums, whilst obscure vocal samples drift in and out of the ominous pads and string synths.
Also accompanying the tunes is an equal quality cover designed by Stacks!

Macc delivers two quality tracks that exhibit his unique style of drum programming and creating tense atmospheres.
Not to forget the extreme sub basses and subtle effects he weaves between the onslaught of his intense beatwork.
This release includes some great artwork by Stacks.

SC:Digital are proud to announce the release of our third single.
Due to unavoidable licensing complications, this isn't the release that was originally planned for SCD003, but we hope that it will satisfy you non the less.......
This release comes from the Z-no project....headed up by former SB frontman, Blue.
In reverse order.....
The third side of the release, 'Z-no(phobic)' features the extra-ordinary vocal talents of Louie G, rhyming manically over distorted breakbeats. Intense.
The second part of the release, 'The Demanding Consumer' is an instrumental track featuring much clever breakbeat manipulation, with the sample 'You are a demanding consumer, and you demand instant gratification' haunting the track.
The first side of the release is an instrumental version of Z-no(phobic)
