Me, I used to do a bit of Smashing Pumpkins (first LP only actually) and a bit of Alice In Chains, but by far the best metal-/non-metal band (metal in the sense that Hendrix was metal) were JANE'S ADDICTION!!! Proper freaky-pervert extreme rock 'n' roll bizness without the uber-marketing sensibiltites of Marilyn Manson (much as I respect the chap's intelligence)...

i have met and been out to dinner with Perry Farrel from Janes Addiction!!

i have full permission to sample his voice anytime!!
