Are all subverts too, not just general DJs!

you didn't post a list of canadian sources in the original threads
so i've not put any in

please feel free to amend that omission Xyxthumbs
Send one to me Wink

I can pass it on to the key dnb people here in Norway.
+ I can promote it on the radio which is broadcast in Oslo + on the web.

Simon Reynolds (unless he will get it through Wire)?

he wrote the Remarc cd liner notes so is still 'in the game' so to speak though I doubt if he has been paying attention to much recent dnb.

Those DJs look alright, definitely Storm, Goldie, Randall, Spirit, Klute (if you were trying to keep the list down - no reason why you would apart from cost).

How about Late Junction (on a limb)? I think they would be intersted in at least some of the tracks. What about unaffiliated Subvert massive contributors (who aren't working DJs - hint hint Wink ). Probably would be the ones to drop off if you were concerned about escalating costs though, considering the tracks would end up being for home listening only. Just a thought.

dang. i must have missed that.

i shall compile a list this week and get it too you.

sorry statto Smile
hey dudes. Can I put in a request for one to be sent to me? I'm a resident at the Cavern in Exeter and have played alongside Bad Company, Total Science, High Contrast, Suv, Simon Bassline Smith, Nicky Blackmarket, Technical Itch and Distorted Minds.
beats are there to be broken http://musicindevon.org/

i don't go to clubs so i don't know what people are playing
if people think of djs (the ones listed or others) who might play sc stuff out, please say so

costs are pretty small really — and yes we'd already considered sending cds to all sc fund contributors — but whether it's possible is not really for me to say since i'm not the one copying the cds Oops

added to the djs (subverts) request list Xyxthumbs
I can also distro some copies to certain jungletrain dj's as well
as put the tracks up on the jukebox (which will play the songs
on air while there are no dj's playing live).

fanu as well as m.t. nesz already have tracks on the juke which
i have put up. this is another great publicity tool as the network
is getting bigger and bigger each week.

of course full fm support on my shows
Statto I can help with the burning of the cd's if you need me too.

Tis not a problem. Then i could maybe send you a bulk mail and you can send from there.

ive already spoken in length to statto and phokus regarding this.

its important to make a big impact initially, and anyone who is sent CDs should also be sent the standard template to print (or already printed) inserts.......

Belgium / Netherlands

You should get one to DeNymfo @ http://www.redzoneheadquarters.com for the Neatherlands Crew.

I can't remember the site for the Belgium Corner.

They would appreciate it!!!!

those are no problem. i can give cd's to miguel (groove) and kabuki personally.

as for the other ones mentioned, i have to look up addresses.
alley cat won't be a problem, too. but maybe it's cheaper to send it from the uk to her.
i would definitely like a copy of the cd....i can play the tunes on my internet show, give out all the track info and plug forthcoming releases and the website.......there are also a few other djs/crus on the internet station who i could give a copy of cd to (if that is ok)?
one cru is definitely into their beats and has had some of their tunes played by bailey...they also have run there own monthly dnb sessions hopefully i could get them to play some of the tunes.....
another cru may well be interested in the cd..though their style is slightly more mainstream but im sure they would be interested in the tunes...

there is also the possibility of getting some of the tracks played on the archives of the station......i could get the tunes put on the "archive playlist" (what do u think?) which runs when no djs r on!

one of londonliveanddirect.com's aim is to promote new and upcoming talent..so it may be possible to get to some of the other djs to play the tunes..one of the owners plays dnb on there and he always plays tunes off cd

as for the mainstream djs, the general list is looking good ,but obviously the other mainstream dj list is looking long and would the label be able to afford to send to everyone of them???

i think the metalheadz djs should be sent a copy goldie, storm, loxy, ink also dylan......there are a lot of other djs on there who could possibly play the tunes....it is just that they probably have so much of their "own camp tunes" to play, that would they really be interested in promoting our new label??
they might play the odd tune but i feel that they would always put their tunes b4 our tunes???
i would like danny breaks, a sides, digital, spirit, klute to be sent a copy....to show some of them that there is other quality dnb out there and other tunes to be heard....and also to draw their awareness to the label
a copy to hype,as he still plays on kiss fm and he may well play 1/2 of the tunes??

as for the normal radio djs...yes i think a copy to all of them :d

.....only thing with the pirates is that i think they tend to all play from vinyl only still and you would need to send to a particular dj.....though there are definite djs on rude 882 fm who i feel would play the tunes...fracture could probably tell u more but a copy could be passed on through dylan/b-key or through red eye records which i think have a few people who play on there????

what about alex c at dj mag???? hes might not be the best reviewer in the world but dj has a high cirulation??? and what about breakin point???
though i havent seen them on the shelve for ages??

website: you could add londonliveanddirect.com (where i could distribute copies)

thats just my thoughts / suggestions...... hope of some use mr statto!! Xyxthumbs

could send one to photek .. he's def a top line dj these days and should be into the more experimental beats Baffled he was down at techicality a few months back after all ..

other possibilities could be setting up a way for non djing subverts Wink to buy a copy for a fiver or something .. which could cover some of the costs of mails outs to dj's / labels etc

or handing out a load of cd's at the end of something like technicality .. maybe something like the all nighter would be a good way of reaching people who don't always make it on weds ... if it was mixed it would stop people ripping the trax ...
