fuck off

bah, i don't think so! tha majority would turn away because of either frustration, lack of interest or disgust. altho causing disgust would be something worth achieving
scart ridge Wrote:intellect should have free reign over intuition no more than intuition should have free reign over intellect, because it's all the same thing.
i agree with the first sentence, but definitely not with the second.
scart ridge Wrote:with faith, none of that matters, because you can do anything
it's the ultimate trump card!
yes! i can choose to not be bothered about trying to achieve support and acceptment from others and concentrate on issues that really matter!
faith is the ultimate juice of life alright, but don't think of it as some wonder potion that you can apply to anything any way you like it as long as you remember to have it! it's both art and science, and extremely challenging techniques are required to be able to use it deliberately.
and as for this:
scart ridge Wrote:i don't think it's as hard to come by as they say. i've come to believe that religion is both real, and completely and utterly subjective; it's an undeniable part of our brain that invents things that aren't there. all of them are true. the things we turn around and create with our tools become real, and the process by which that happens is faith. just by living a life and thinking and doing anything, we are our own gods;
agreed not wholwheartedly, but to some extent

i believe that the majority of humans spend their whole lives running away. they occupy their minds with things that stop them from thinking about their own lives and their surroundings, what kind of world this really is. they waste so much hope and faith on useless, meaningless dribble just because it has to be wasted on something.

again agreed. anything slightly bigger can't be achieved without a firm ground where to stand on. faith is the roots.
