your next album off there should be tarentel - we move through weather

Xyxthumbs they are one of my favourite bands ever, and this album is a cornerstone in their discography.

probably their best work, although i haven't heard the latest 'live' album.
would be a pretty great band to see live, i think they just do improv stuff.

it's a breakthrough record for the band and captures the transition when they found their way into improv and that 'epiphany' really shines through. but i think everything they did after we move through weather is just as strong, especially the ghetto beats on the surface of the sun lp series. i agree that seeing them live would be great, the last live edits: italy/switzerland album is just wonderful.

Statto Wrote:I'm on 50 downloads a month for £12
which works out at 24p each

going up to £14 for 35 downloads

an increase of 167%

Neutral
up 167% in terms of multiplied by 1.67 or 2.67? the latter seems to extreme to be real. Neutral
multiplied by 1.67

I guess that's 67% Oops

Quite handy, its a list of albums comprising of 5 tracks or less - pretty useful for when you end up with an awkward amount of mp3s to use up Smile
I dubbed the sheriff
I think one of the things they're changing is to stop you doing that Neutral
what are they going to do? make it per album or charge more for long tracks or something?

btw signal to noise by Robert Henke is pretty good value for 3 tracks.. also fennesz sala santa cecillia
panda Wrote:signal to noise by Robert Henke

was just listening to this and didnt realise there was an actual thunderstorm outside Hahaha
yeah, they had some pretty good stuff in there. Loaded up on hospital tunes. Hard to search the site though. I got 50 free downloads from them and then cancelled my account. They were all vbr.
Got some good stuff on the site recently !

Always liked Delsin Records but never thought about checking to see what they had on Emusic till the other day - got some Planetary / Quince / Newworldaquarium / Vince Watson / D5 / Sterac Lovesmilie

Also - new album out by Ruxpin - ambient beats - breakbeat / D&B influenced but it's an electronica album more than anything. Took about 9 or 10 tracks from it.

Farben - "Textstar" on Klang Electronik (2002) - very good glitchy, musical techno/house.

Picked up alot of recent Dubstep - actually Skream does quite alot of good stuff ! Check "2-D" on Skreamizm Vol IV for a start ... or "I" ... or "Rims" (probably spelt with a 'z'!)

oh yeah, Rufige Kru "Memoirs Of An Afterlife" album is on there already ... didn't see it anywhere else yet Wink

Heard about the 12 tracks as an album deal.. but only in the sense that songs with say 20 songs would count as 12 credits (haven’t seen it happen yet).. rather than longer tracks with say 4 songs on them count as 12 credits Icon_sad
Many on that list now count as 12 credits.. unfortunately, especially if your into avant garde jazz
This ones 12 credits for a 15 minute song – wtf http://www.emusic.com/album/Zs-The-Hard-...51930.html

There’s a whole bunch of long tracks on that site.. found a bunch of Laswell ones a while back, but haven’t checked if they’ve been changed under the new deal.
There’s also plenty of one track mix albums too.. only found a couple dnb ones though Icon_sad

The free daily download (if u get their toolbar) is interesting sometimes.. (when theyre available in the region).
There’s also a free tracks section >> http://www.emusic.com/browse/0/b/-dbm/a/0-0/847/0.html

Going to have to check through ur lots suggestions here too Smile

some of the changes Statto and i were discussing [or i was banging on about Wink ] are in the Reinforced thread @ http://subvertcentral.com/forum/showthre...131&page=2

re: price increases, seemingly due to that they're adding sony tracks (which won't be available in Au); no new members to australia (including cant resubscribe if unsubscribed);

I seem to be on some weird, irregular plan - where I get 40 downloads a month for 13.99 Euro

the advertised plan now is 15.99 for 35 downloads.

I signed up for 30 when I joined... and it was something like 12 Euro or thereabouts ?

anyway... just wondering why my account got bumped upto 40 ?

Not complaining of course !

I've been getting 40 downloads for months now though... maybe a year or so ?

maybe there was some booster option I took ? But I don't remember having to pay extra ?

there's different packs and rates available, as well as the boosters.
here its changing.
was getting 20.. now its knocked down to 12 for the same overall cost.. and have to get 35 a month to get same rate as was before with 20... theyve tried to sweeten a bit by giving an extra 10 free ones for the month
