Fuck replacing this lead. I've discovered some wicked effects with this. 
Being able to hear the placement of all the frequencies by twiddling the end of the lead is a bit of an experience. Proper finnicky to do so though and position it just right, but this is more than just a novelty when it works- it helps me to isolate the elements in the tune for each frequency.
