too many perceptions are being formed thats why - its best to make it so that nobody who stumbles across it would perceieve any conflict of interest in any way.

we all know that we could do it easily, but the code thread has shown what perceptions will be made if myself, blue and statto were the management team.

and thats from people who regularly come on the board and know us.

we want the project to seem as open as possible.

Scope - you talk much sense. Perceptions are very important here.

I'm touched, I really am I'd love to be involved in the running of the label!

That being said, two or three things concern me. (a) I have no experience in such matters; (b) I can't afford to inject any capital into the project; and © the point Sumo made about me having the time - what he's driving at is that I've just started a new job that's taking up a lot of my time at the moment. But then I guess once I get more used to the new challenges it presents, I'll have more time for SC. And I guess the new job hasn't really hindered my posting too much, so time isn't really as large a point as the others!

same here — i have a lot of work on at the moment which is backing up as i spend more time here

one good reason for phokus to be involved is that he's in london and sees loads of people regularly at inperspective, etc.

and if anyone is seriously worrying about an sb conflict of interest with sc then 2 subverts to 1 streetbeats should satisfy them, no?
