Akai sampler a/d's on soundcard?
This is probably a stupid question, but I'm going for it.

I was thinking about the hardware/computer sampler thread and then thought about how many people still use Akai samplers because of the sound. You can do everything and more in a software sampler, but since some hardware samplers have such a good punchy sound, people use them. I know some people that record into the Akai and then import to their computer to use because of the sound...

So, this is me not knowing much about electron

Logic 8 midi issue with Akai s5000 sampler
I draw a midi block using a pen, then I open it up and draw midi notes that play drum sounds that are in my Akai s5000.

I let it play, and all goes fine, except that when I set it on loop, the last 16th note of the bar cuts real short: I only hear a small snap.
If I play thru it, there's no probs: it's only the looping that kills the last 16th note of the bar; also, the loop can be as long as I want, and it's always the last bar that suffers.
If i make the loop a bit longer, say, 1/8 bar
