nOOb on kontakt : question
hey all...

i just installed the newest version of kontakt. i'm under the impression that you can load .rex or rex2 files with relative ease.

i loaded a rex file this morning, but it only seems to map it as a whole sample, as opposed to mapping the slices automatically like halion does....i'm sure there must be a way around this, or a way of importing that file type so it will map the slices individually....

so how do i do it?

thanx! Smile

producing noob here, whats your opinion of Fruity Loops?
so I've been messing around with Renoise for a while with considerable frustration.... it's fun but.... I don't think I'm a tracker Grin

yet Fruity Loops I've always liked for years, I love the slicer, the pads, the synths (some old skool sounding shit in there), etc... its straight up simple, and I am a simple man!

I just want to start making deep ambient jungle grooves and it seems like a great program to start. I don't have $$$ for hardware or monitors, etc... I just want something
