MEGIDDO - my new favourite movie... ever.

i can't believe i never saw this film beofre. but, i bet mr g.w.bush must have seen it. let me summarise it for you...

its an interpretation of the apocalypse as its written in revalations,set now. it is a reworking of 'the omega code' which came out about 5 years ago... it has a big-ish budget... for a b movie... its visual effects were done by the guy that wrote the software used on independence day (also did visual effects on castaway, and stewart little)massive battle scenes.... as all the worlds armies do battle on the plain of megiddo... lots of tanks... lots of aircraft...

how does the devil take over the world?

he becomes head of the european union... then the united nations. merges them together to form a new world.

who is his enemy... the united states is the only major world power to dissagree with this united nations, and it is the united states that (with god on their side) destroys the armies of the devil- lead by russia, and the european union. it is the american president that sees the devil for who he is, and leads the battle. it stars a rugged michael biehn as the president. and michael york as the devil.

hmmmm... the relevance to the current world situation... bush is standing against the united nations... and the big european powers. he wants to fight a battle in the middle east....

now you see why i say mr b. must have seen the film...

its christian, right wing, and america is doing gods work...
