Blogs...need help

hey fellow subverts, does anybody has a good manual regarding blog publishing ? o.k., of course there are some on the blogspot's info section...but i need some more in-depth infos.

sounds very stupid...but it has to be easy since i'm very new to this...

i'm setting up my own blogpage and i would really appreciate some advice of yours...

If you want to run it yourself, try Movable Type (is that still free?). Otherwise, I'd go for a Blogger account or whatever.

i'm still trying to figure out if blogs could be interesting to me and worth investing time. there are many blog programs. some are hosted on specific sites, some on your own webspace, some cost money, some don't,...
