Not really, no! I have a few early Metros (?) if that was the label... some nice tunes on there... and even 2 Viruses . But Optical's 'sound' had nothing to do with Jungle really (IMO) and when his beats started getting made in straight lines..

Gimme Polar any day for super-clean, techy/eletronicky drum n bass...

i love most of the stuff they did up till around 2000... after that...

might be a few good things on this album!

The Story goes like this...

As some of you may know Full Cycle relocated their studio last year, during this studio move they uncovered some DAT tapes that no-one recognised. On these tapes were a whole bunch of Full Cycle tracks from the early to mid-nineties that had been written off as lost to the D&B world forever......

The updated Lost Tapes collection is due to be unleashed in late 2005, however Full Cycle have agreed to preview these tracks to whats regarded as London's most knowledgable crowd, at traffic in May......this is a chance to take a step back to a golden era of D&B and hear this music played out for the 1st time in nearly a decade...an event not to be missed!!

Make of that what you will .........

i know...one can only hope that playing out those old tunes might make them realise how far they've strayed from quality.

hopefully they found switchblade for the virus vault lp. that track is just so fucking weird with that vocoded stab.

if people snap this shit up (FC's and Virus's) maybe it will outpace their doubtlessly-declining contemporary sales and give both camps pause for thought

i cant really fault ed rush and optical.will even forgive the recent crap cause of the back catalogue

I intend to buy this album. And I mean, realy buy it, not download, lol.

I hope they keep evolving and release a really decent album after listening to all that they were capable of doing, because I'm really disapointed by "Reece", such a lame tune!
