peopel always over-estimate what they'll get for a 2nd hand computer. Buy and sell is full of people selling 2nd hand macs for about 100 quid cheaper than a brand new better model. chancers

um. that's a tricky one. my first thought is that for about a hundred quid more you can get yourself a basic dual-core intel laptop (1.6ghz dual processor, 80gb hard disk etc) and that would certainly last you alot longer before it became too underpowered.
