dune is one of the greatest sci-fi novels ever written u will undoubtably enjoy it howver be warned that some of the latter books in the series are a bit crappy, well thats my personal opinion anyway, but dune, dune is grrrrrrreat!

just finished "a people's history of the united states" - howard zinn. pretty well-known, got repetitive after a while (seems like every paragraph ends with "police were called in, 12 workers were killed, 45 injured") but still a nice infrared light on the US' history.

just found some $2 book at a flea-market here... "living things and you", super general and accessible look into all the interlocked biological and environmental processes that make up the earth. it's awesome, maybe because i don't know shit about any of that stuff.

also re-re-re-re-re-re-attempting "nausea" (sartre). i've been trying to read it about once a week for the last six months and it's like reading scart ridge posts. i'll read up to the last page i made, then get through about 5 more pages, then want to punch a wall, then i'll do something else. my first stab at existentialism in literary history seems tiresome as fuck.

chopin biography, again from boredom. good stuff, he was a neat dude.

i need some new shit to read! no loot to buy shit online, nothing but baptist/christian/god/jesus/sinners-burn shit around here in searcy county, arkansas.... looking forward to visit to the one "artsy" city this weekend so i can hopefully pick up some new readin's.
