not wishing to get involed in the split/no split debate (i will be buying the tunes whatever name they go under) i want to say respect for all the hard work and bestof luck to you people

im failing to see these past few days when people joke or are being earnest..

i badly need my holiday.
only 4 1/2 hours of work remaining before im off for a week!

BERLIN here i come.
Thanks Chris... I love you even more now!
There's no doubt that Technicality and the Inperspective label has been a great success. I have huge respect for Chris and all the artists... but in the wider scheme of things you have to say that the scene is still dominated by the same Dj's playing the same sets as each other...

That's why this whole thing was kicked off in the first place.

Who's to say that eventually the Chris Inperspective method wouldn't pay off??? It is working now and Technicality / Inperspective will win hearts and minds in the future.

but you need more than one night and one label to really get things going... and while Offshore, Streetbeats, Bassbin, Pieter K on Breakbeat Science and Droppin' Science (if it ever comes back Icon_cry ) will make their own waves within D&B too the combined tidal force would make a much bigger impression and could stir things right up! I just feel the scene needs a bit of a kick up the pants at the moment... we all acknowledge that people have been afraid to rock the boat for years. There have always been dissenting voices here and there but never anything as unified as this collective could be...

Anyhow, that's the way I see it.

By all means unify, but the music has to speak louder than the collective people involved
Yes.

But right now it's difficult for the music to speak with so few releases in this vien and so few Dj's willing to play the releases that are there!
I'm with appro. It would be a mistake to "split". Some of you are looking at this completely backwards.

Listened to some sets from Technicality last evening - excellent stuff!!

When might I find Inperspective releases before the last two that seemed to be much more widely distributed???
Harry, Harry, Where do you go when the lights go out?
u n appropo should listen ITS NOT ABOUT FECKIN SPLITTIN! Roll
Reading previous posts, I think you'll find it was indeed mentioned by DnB pioneer and revolutionary....hallowed be his name... Naffta
Yes - it WAS mentioned... but after debating it all out he and everybocy involved in that discussion agreed NOT to split...

Unifying certain labels under a collective banner is not spiltting... it's actually a way of getting back into the D&B circie that the labels have somehow found themselves outside!!!
I really like your use of uppercase to emphasise your point.
You may not label it as splitting.

And it won't be because it will never happen.

But by huddling together in a group and coming up with some silly genre name - it has that appearance.

Well, emphasis is necessary it seems!

Grin
appearances can be deceiving.
and its YOUR opinion, which is just as valid as anyone else's ofcourse.

but we cant decide, we can only advise and give our opinions.
its for them in the seats of power so to speak to decide on this.
yeah sorry but u sayin your not splittin is all good and well but making a new name and the majority of your arguments look to the outside observer like thats what youre tryin to do

re: djs not playin ur tunes - maybe they dont like them
Just becuause you are really Andy C it does not give you the right to be negative about people trying to break out of the current scene
@all the people that don't like the "movement" idea:
do you have any suggestions how to change the sad state of dnb? I think everybody here is open for ideas.

Yeah... just like when fabio split from the DnB scene when he came up with 'liquid funk'. Where is he now eh? Roll

Fabio was established already which meant splitting was easier because he was already known.
