I used it at uni for a bit, made a few crappy sounding synths and stuff but obviously you can make awesome sounding stuff like autechre with it too... just takes a hell of alot of learning and a bunch of audio/synth theory

its pretty easy to get the basics. as i say though, you need some decent understanding of synth/audio theory to utilize it properly.
Its basicly fisher price synth building, some stuff has inputs, some has out (of various types, audio and midi) and you just hook em up with bits of string.

Cheers for this safetyboy! Doin Max MSP at the moementi in college, its a lot to get the head around but its possibilities are endless! Have to make a polyphonic synth over the next 2 weeks for a project which is gonna be tough but real rewardin, gud to have some good patches to analyse and try to get a grasp of and possibly get some ideas from. Thanks a mill

Reccomend anyone to do the tutorials to get a gud idea of synthesis and how to get the best out of the VSTi's they use! Helped my production no end!
