last fm

Any subverts use last fm? I know it's been going for a few years now; I registered a year ago but I've only recently started to use / appreciate it.

I've been having lots of fun discovering new music. Found a genre I really like that I didn't even know existed (drone metal), plus loads of new artists generally. I think the tag radio system is brilliant, except when it goes wrong and plays you some Cheeky Girls when you were expecting some more peruvian noseflute-step.

Also I find the buffering gets a bit much sometimes. Anyone here subscribed? Do you really get a better streaming service if you pay for it?

I've also set up Transmute on there as a label. You can stream our first 4 releases in full length on demand. http://www.last.fm/label/Transmute/

If anyone's on there and wishes to befriend me, here's my page: http://www.last.fm/user/MATTR1CK/

Still using it, too. Scrobbling spotify. My figures have seemingly declined a lot, though. Not sure, if that's entirely true or if I have some account not connected Chin Lot of christmas related music in the last couple of days Happywave

I stopped using it about a year ago. Every upgrade on that site has made it worse to use, many useful option have been removed.
Shame, as a really liked to check my own listening habits and find related artists and music lovers with similar tastes.
I'm still scrobbling, although I mainly use it to find connections between producers, labels and records. It's good to use in combination with the online record shops. One problem though is that the recommendations deteriorate over time without the help of users who scrobbles music.
Cartmuttley's last.fm update Xmas

Was originally alerted to Foci Left scrobbles.
Checked it out, over 1000 first EP.
That was first year of label records. 7years today.
