to say how unfeasibly good the drawmer is.
Doing nothing improves the signal. The built in limiter is brilliant. The compression is punchier than a big punch in the face. The valve section makes weedy, reedy things sound fat * . You can push the whole thing to silly arse levels and clobber drums to bits. It sounds McNice. One of the best things I have ever bought - I need to stop using it! * Seriously, unless you've ever used a real valve section in a digital environment - which I hadn't before - you know nothing of tubes. I hadn't ever used real valve equipment for extended periods other than in guitar amps etc before, and all that was years ago. It's like a big lightbulb has come on. I did some AB stuff against Warmifier from Voxengo, which 'models' the same valves (12AX7 I think it is) and it was so far away it was untrue. It just sounded completely different, not even like a poor emulation. Then I did Antares tube and it was jokes They're not even the highest grade valves (far from it), but fackin ell. I am already saving for a Drawmer 1960. Don Cherry Wrote:Every human is blessed in her or his life with one love (passion), no matter how long it may last. real valves =
Had em in guitar amps and so on, but never done a direct side-by-side comparison with tube plugins before. Jokes.

It has more to do with the transformer than the tubes in most cases.
It's got a 'tube in/tube out' button :P
The solid state bit sounds the nuts too though Don Cherry Wrote:Every human is blessed in her or his life with one love (passion), no matter how long it may last.
