this thread is ace Wink

really cool to see peoples real setups, gonna up some pics of my den tomorrow, if all goes to plan.

maff

ps as someone who's fighting hard to get their first mortgage at the minute, it's good to see how people are using their space etc, becketts loft convo is def food for thought....(mthdz slipmats too, nice)

also loving cubes' flyers as much as the gear, although the internal examination glove hanging out of the top drawer on the second pic is somewhat unnerving haha Teef

you should have seen the state of the thing before i sorted it out...it was rank...there was a massive plastic dis-used water tank, full of dust, spiders and a dead pigeon...about 6 metres of old copper piping, tonnes of old boxes and all sorts of crap....i filled two skips with junk clearing it out Eek

well worth the effort though....didn't cost a lot to square it up either, a jigsaw, a bag o nails, a couple of stacks of cheapo attic flooring from b&q and a bunch of carpet tiles....hardest part was lugging everything up there!

whats that under your vdu's?
Fuck some people have a few quid to throw about on here.

Im using Cubase SX2 with a million VST's, Soundforge all running on a battered old Toys R Us bought P4 1.8ghz, 40gb, 256ram piece of shit PC which I some times have to kick as it starts up with corrupt data.

2 Stanton STR8-80's
Stanton SMX-401 Mixer (the hub of my 'studio')
Technics tape deck
Pioneer CDJ100

Like they say, not what you got but how you use it.
Im screwed then.

One million weird CD's and vinyl

back from haitus! althought in a greatly reduced form (the heartache of running a band proved to much).. but it seems we wrote enough material last year to keep us busy for quite some time...
