Dunno if this is anyone's here's thing and the Big Chills do have a bit of media-luvvie rep but the two I've been to have been blinding and this years winter chill was SO much better than last years.
In Cargo so decent sound, highlights were the grub, Esco (see avatar) blinging it and Norman Jay MBE playing some sunshine-funk and Tom Middleton dropping everything from dubbed out funk to Bon Jovi's 'Living on a Prayer'

when is it?
Went to the one near Gloucester this year. Wicked... (except the Jedi Knights played and only managed three breaks tracks in two hours)

lol! mad one. it was quality though, standout were AIM (think it was their 2nd ever performance) and Royksopp. Oh yeah and me and esco and fee staning in front of the mainstage whilst Gotan Profject were on, throwing up shadow puppets on their artsy canvas, completely unaware they were playing behind it
Oh yeah, and The Bees were wicked, like the beach boys over some jazz/funk type shyt

To be honest we got rather too wasted and missed most of the stuff we wanted to see... Cinematic Orchestra were wicked live tho' and the Bays too...

oh yes The Bays tore it a new a-hole! Mr Scruff sounded like he had a good nite too, unfortunately I couldn't get in the tent as my body stopped working following a days heavy drinking and eating followed by a trip round the art trail. who's bright idea was it to put it on top of a mountain?

oh mate, we never made it up there! This girl I was with tried to drag me during a particularly starry-eyed moment but gravity decided otherwise...
