Yeeeesssss! Thanks to a really sound bar manager in Limerick, I got a loan of a Pioneer CDJ 100S last night till tonight which means I can mix all my CD's for the first time! It's the most excited I've been about mixing in awhile coz I've cained every record I have for the longest time... (has been fuck all released in the last few months to get excited about...).
Deadly!
Must say, alot of the Subvert Central things are sounding really good!
& did a certain cd arrive at it's Limerick bound destination?

But Statto if you put up your tracklisting from your new cd,you'll find Code doesn't have any of those either?

Code, let us know how you get on with that Cd player. Thinking about getting one but wondering f I should cough up the extra for a CDJ800 instead.

I been thinking of getting the cdj-1000mk11's but those new technics are coming soon & they look like they could be very tasty!
shits expensive though

New Technics wil be starting at £900 but after a year or so will drop down to the correct retail price of £800 .......... its all about patience :P
I have no patience when I'm supposed to be practising for gigs!
:]

yeah but the majority of places that have CD players have or will have pioneer CD players - so like technics they are becoming the standard - and the CDJ800 which is essentially the same as the CDJ100MK2 are only £500 each compared to nearly a grand for the (admittedly gorgeous) technics.

the cdj1000mk2's are @ dv for 649 a piece.
if u bought 2 some haggling could prove useful.

I'm waiting for the Technic's as there'll be the best and I couldn't justify coughing up money for anything else.
More like Fisher Price 'Beats R us' toy at stores now for 9.99

looks like bambuHQ is in need of some new material...as for CDJs....I think CDJ-500s are the one in the middle to go for...dead cheap at the moment and ample enough for normal DJ duties...
im gonna be doing a similar thing as soon as i can find the time (prolly saturday)
i'll try and post it in the beatranch fo y'all
