So,a friend of mine, who stays in a commune with some other peeps,gets home last night to a committee of said peeps. He was confronted about the fact that he had brought some black friend (me) to the commune. They said they had been living there for many years and that he should respect their opinion. We're quite dumbstruck tbh. Dunno what to think. Just felt like sharing.

Had he seen any evidence of such feelings before? Or was this out of the blue? I mean it's obviously pretty disgusting that they'd have a problem with him bringing a black friend round, I wonder if they'd mentioned it when he moved in.

Unless you were behaving in an antisocial manner there is no excuse for their behaviour. Even then, they should stick to the facts of any breaches like that rather than bringing outright racism into it.

It's a part of humanity that i will never understand. I have family members that act in this way, dropping stereotypes pertaining to races, treating them as an autonomous movement (blacks and gun crime, latinos being lazy/border jumpers). I'm constantly challenging their views... we're such a wacked species.

i dont wanna say "fucked up", we however have/had our share of issues. My life's been pretty smooth tho. Also Cordani, geographically speaking, Liberia is quite far from S.A (its in upper west africa); but ya,sum major tings happening there. Is that doc strictly streaming or per dl?
