SC 60x60 Volume 2

It's been a long time coming but finally it's ready. The 2nd installment of our 60 minute journeys through 60 second pieces.

Sorry it's taken so long to get this out, but hopefully you'll agree it's worth the wait. It's another stellar bunch of tracks, with a great variety of style, some of which seriously blew me away. I'm very pleased with the running order and flow, Ben Subvert has done a fantastic job of making everything fit together, and Rondema has produced a great print-cut-paste cd sleeve. Many thanks to you both, and well done to everyone who submitted. Applause

In the interests of avoiding further delay, we have a temporary web page, but hope to have something better soon.

You can get all the background here

You can check out the project here

Thanks to the mighty Paradigm X for hosting this.

Once again, you can check out the project here, go! go! go!

Nice one!
nice!

cue file is broken for the mp3, i have amended and fixed

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3068798/60x60%20Volume%202.cue
-minor point - the cue file doesnt work (FLAC version).

Had a look at it and changed WAV to FLAC but still doesnt work. Not too sure about these things TBH.

Just out of interest.

Sounding great tho, mastering is fantastic (skipped ahead to my own to check) - I was a bit worried as gave it completely unmastered, but sounds amazing.

Listening thru now.

Grin
ahh shit

i think you'll need to edit this bit:

FILE "60x60 Volume 2 v2.wav" WAVE

to:

FILE "60x60 Volume 2.mp3" MP3
or
FILE "60x60 Volume 2.flac" FLAC

i have to sleep now but let me know if that works and i'll update the zips upon my awakening

and yeah - i think everyone will be pleased with the way their tracks have been mastered Xyxthumbs
cool stuff

Nice one. Itching to hear this
beats are there to be broken http://musicindevon.org/
is this gonna be put on soundcloud and add to sc group?
I think every tune is brilliant and shows an incredible variety of sounds and styles from some seriously skilled producers. It's hard to pick a top 10!
I'm really really feeling these though, they're incredible:

Andromeda
Redundancy
Maxbo
Gangsters
Illegal Quantity Error
Happy Mold
Always the same
Morality
Approximate Symmetry
Christ Kills
Kannst Du Beide seiten ertragen?
Kalos Eidos

Fucking Falcon
Euphony Wrote:Redundancy

Nice one mate.
I wrote this while I was redundant around July 2009 (Icon_eek) and it sounded how I felt, sort of transient and stuck.

I lost the original file and even any recording of it when my HD died a few months later (back up had died 2 weeks earlier too Grumble) so this was the first time I'd heard it since really. Made me feel a bit uneasy Nervous

I had a listen through but without the track list in front of me so can't really comment on particular tunes yet but there are some excellent pieces on there and a huge array of sounds on offer.
Excellent work Mattrick and all involved Xyxthumbs

Don't like my track anymore but that's a different story.

Some nice late night listening tonight Grin

Just out of interest: who are edotd, Galgeberg, Fieberock, new day fades, Portland Airport, Muted Verse, Skah & Cavernous Space, Lovely Sunny Day...? :P

New Day fades is DJ Fada Wink
and Skah is the guy that runs Materializm Smile

I like yours mate Grin
On the flip side of the coin, listening back, I think mine needed far better mixdowns to hear the intricacies I put in Icon_sad

But that doesn't matter, the other tunes are amazing.

This project sounds> Falcon
