Any ideas how to avoid the royal wedding???

First of all, apologies if any of you are getting your box of kleenex ready and watching the endless coverage on BBC news.

I am trying to think of ways to avoid this darn royal wedding, any suggestions???
We can't go out to the pub or for some food as everywhere is covering it here. I can see across to the green behind the house and notice a group of 5 households have joined together and started putting up marquees and a bouncy castle which will inevitably go on all night as people don't know how to behave themselves Roll
We could go for a walk in the countryside, that's about all I can think of to avoid the ruckus!

There is a pub in Derby that is deliberately 'anti-royal wedding' apparently, but that involves driving into Derby City centre and then I can only have a pint Icon_razz
Or waiting at the bus stop for 2 hours as it's a bank holiday!

Any good suggestions??
o.m.g i am soooooo teetering on the point of anxiety waiting for this! who the hell cares hes marrying a commoner anyway...

We're going for a countrywalk, I've made a decision...

I'm staying in, not listening to the radio, not turning on the TV, not reading the newspapers, and hoping not to see any (more Grumble) threads about the royal wedding anywhere online.

Live on a main road, opposite a grave yard. Road is quiet and, unsurprisingly so is the grave yard.
Its not actually very hard to avoid if you don't want to see it Icon_razz

Not true when 'a group of 5 households have joined together and started putting up marquees and a bouncy castle which will inevitably go on all night as people don't know how to behave themselves'

I think he means they're all too posh in Suffolk to have neighbours close to them, so their constant noise is not a problem.
