i dont know about dj'ing but they state they have a flat response for monitoring. was thinking of getting them. my nephew broke my last pair of cheap ones and my posh bheyer dynamics (or however you spell it) are in bits. (i think they make em shit coz you can buy all the bits and bobs to fix em)

I have the CH700 and really don't like them. Flimsy and they have no width at all (you don't want to much, but at least a bit helps). I got some JVC RX700s that are a great deal for listening (and djing I'd safely assume) but I don't think I would produce on them (very bass heavy). Can't say anything about the Sennheisers above, but I can say I'd take a stab at those over the samsons.

i had 2 pairs of the samson rh600's and they both broke in exactly the same way, flimsy little cable going to the right driver breaking

ah. i made a mental note some time ago not to buy designs like that. typical fault. (perhaps id be better off writing these notes) Hahaha

Spend more. Or make a point of seriously learning how your headphones respond.
I produce quite a lot on my £40 Sennheiser HD485's. Might not have the best sound, but I've used them enough to know them inside out.

So those senns might be alright
cheers guys Grin
