Right - Bukem's turn!

I'd happened to tune into LTJ Bukem's Kiss FM show one day on the off chance, not expecting very much, and to my surprise couldn't believe my ears when all these old house anthems started flooding through the speakers!

This was the best thing I'd heard Bukem doing for ages, I'd heard him playing old tunes before, but this was proper old skool... even now I listen it makes me wanna get up & start dancing in my living room!

Only thing is, I don't know what any of the tunes are. Can anyone help?

LTJ Bukem - 13th January 1999

Pink Noise - I Gotta Bigga Dick (Bigga Brooklyn Bass Beat)   << Updated!
Da Posse - Searchin' Hard
Neal Howard - To Be Or Not To Be? (The Gathering Club Mix)
78th Street Project - Base Line Dimension   << NEW!!
Joey Beltram - Energy Flash
How & Little - Why Can't We Start Again (Dreams On Wax Mix)

I know they're all roughly 89-91 in era but other than that, no idea... well, I do have a couple of clues, but thought I'd leave blank for now Xyxthumbs give some of you older heads something to chew over.

Good luck / enjoy! Cool

The first one sounds like a mix of Pink Noise-Give Me Energy but it's not any of the ones I can find on Youtube & I haven't got a clue where my copy is to check! The second one is Da Posse-Searchin Hard and the last tune is How & Little-Why Can't We Start Again (Dreams On Wax Mix)
Thanks Thumbzo!

Ok I've just updated the main post with the id's, thanks again Dave & Thumbzo

Thumbzo - that first tune, I once heard one of the dj's playing it on Stressfactor and he pointed me towards this Various – Dance Madness And The Brooklyn Groove but neglected to tell me what exactly! Do you know which track it could be?

Surprised we've not heard from Euphony or Rondema yet...

What mix was that - was it on Kiss? If you have a rough date that might help. I'm interested to hear that now Smile

I had a whizz through last night and a couple of the unidentified ones sound familiar, but I don't know if they just remind me of other tunes. I certainly haven't got them.

If I ever find any out I will definitely post them in here Grin

I've updated the main post again, just to confirm you think this is NOT the one from the 12"? Seems unusual Bukem would be playing from a 10 track vinyl LP, although if thats where the best mix was...

Here's the second part of the LTJ Bukem recording I have, if anyone's interested: Xyxthumbs

Bump!

I've tracked down that final tune... with thanks to DJ Junk on soundcloud!! Hyper

It's…  78th Street Project - Base Line Dimension

So it's an early one from Joey Beltram, basically.

Over the moon to get this id, think I'll be attempting to get the vinyl of this in very short notice
