Easy all. Another all artist mix...

Another 'early years' mix in the same vein as the Seba one. This one features some early Adam F between 1993 and 1995.

Leaving out Listen, that's a paddlin'.

Not sure why it didnt make the cut Tim. I don't really plan these mixes out, I just get the tunes together and pick as I go.
I think finding the bloody tunes in shelves took longer than recording the mix

apart from F for Fenturion anyway
used to file things by genre (i.e. dnb, house, techno), and then by label
worked for me

That seems kind of bizarre – unless you play tunes by label rather than by producer? I suppose if you're having, say, a Reinforced session, it'd be useful to have them all in the same place.

Probably. I tended to play by style, so there were usually goto labels for different things. I also liked to have complete discographies of labels (like I also tried to own every synth on the planet recently, slightly obsessive). Like I say, it worked very well for me in terms of storage and locating the tunes in the shelves.
I also think its nice to have all your 100-200deep Moving Shadow and Reinforced records together in the same place.
done
I file mine in years from 1985 - now (the oldskool/acid/rave/jungle/dnb stuff anyway as there is so much more of them). The exception is my old GLR collection that is all filed together separately.
Non dnb is filed in genre.
@law: very nice mix!

@a few others: I file my records in years as well (subcategories: months)
