Omni Music welcomes newcomer Brijawi with 3 tracks of deep funky beats. Always on the look out for new talent, Brijawi is the first in a long line of up and coming artists we will be championing this year. The title track demonstrates Brijawi's excellent ear for interesting beats as he constructs a beautifully laid out slice of funk in 6/8 rhythm, something rarely heard in drum and bass. Akro takes the listener into atmospheric drumfunk territory with clever edits and some serious grooves. The closer to the EP, SG, takes a darker rougher edge but still with driving evolving drumfunk breaks to shake the speakers and walls. Omni Music will be waiting for more from this talented newcomer and will be sure to send his beats as far as possible.
