Foci's Left - the solo work of occasional Omni Music producer Mick Buckingham - is welcomed back to Omni with his longest LP to date, the insiduous and intense 'My Life In Bits And Pieces'. Taking a more classical music-moulded fork through modern day electronica than past releases, the album was originally going to be called 'South Of Heaven Town' - as it is a follow-up to the well-received 'Life In A Less Southern Town from Ohm Series catalogue instalment 002 in middle 2014. Mick had an aim with this music to 'express my health diagnosis - schizo-affective disorder - in its most simple meaning to sound translation'. Expect flurrying pads, emotional crescendos and just a little bit of that usual weirdness that has made Foci's Left a household name. With close to seventy releases on Bandcamp, there's always more to come from this established artist.
