Hi all,
I haven't been here in donkey's so I thought I'd discuss one topic I know most SC heads know and love. So what do you turn to when you need a bit of snax lovin'?
cream crackers + cheese spread
Hey hey.
Hm...scotch eggs. Morrisons Scotch Eggs. Not the hot and spicy artificial tasting sausage meat ones, the normal ones that are just so moreish. Mmmm. And cheap. £1 - 1.75 depending on if you buy 2 or 4.
Run close by the turxxin' Mexicann ASDA x 3 Wrap combo. 3 wraps for £2.50. Bargain!
Can't beat a good cornish pasty or steak slice, but otherwise I'd have to go with Bombay Aloo tubs. Supersnax!
I've lost my head in craft beer, along the way I found Karkli. Best flavour was a limited edition lemon and ginger (collaboration with Weird Beard brewery) Remarkable crunch factor, like scampi fries on acid. Check out the crunch at 2:20, better than an 8bit sample. Oh and hi! Hope you're all keeping well

Crackers (any kind) with strong cheddar, and mango chutney...OMFG, soooo good.
Love crunchy peanut butter on seedy bread toast also.
YUM.
P.s. On another note Mr Neptune, any forthcoming music from yourself?? Not seen anything about in a while
As an Austrian, I'll go for something typically for this country - Lard Greaves
Possibly the unhealthiest snack available exacerbated by the fact I usually put some salt on 'em as well. I love em even more these days cuz many friends who have gone vegetarian/vegan consider me to be a little Hitler for eating those

Wow, what an amazing array of snax! Those Lard Greaves sound a little like Pork Scratching. Do you have them with a nice cold beer? Mmmmm
I've mostly been eating homemade chocolate snax but have also been partial to Lidl Veggie crisps.
Recently in a pub, I double dropped scampi fries and bacon fries. That was quite something!
In terms of music, I've not been as busy as maybe I'd like to be but there is something forthcoming soon...

Yeah, you can have them with beer, (light) white wine, mineral water, soft drinks - in fact these are quite flexible regarding accompanying beaverages
And here is another one of my fav snacks - the seminal "Fischli" - too bad they phased out the ones with those little salt grains on them. They were the best, now it's the "classics" - still very good

I also like the little sushi boxes you get in delis.

I had these a few days back .... Foam Rolls

indeed. Lovely.
New Snax...I buy a lot more unprocessed stuff that doesn't really get termed Snax nowadays, because I am cooking every week if I can.
The regular indian and Chinese sides are always welcome - wanton rolls, spring rolls, Indonesian mango chutney, prawn toasts, samosas, bhajis, aloos, naans. but god I can be a real binger. proper lardon-jelly pork pies are wicked too, but 1200 calories for the killjoy multiplied by four (a whole pack, who eats that you ask, well, I should be eating another full meal shouldn't I; that won't fill me).
I love the crispbreads my parents get - those focaccia breads (Italian mainly, with tomato and cheese) that are tastier than pizza.
The following is absolutely great, dunno if they're available in the UK tho - "Kägi Fret" chocolate waffles

I honestly think Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are one of humanity's greatest inventions, and I'm joyful of the variations that Reese's PB Cups have created (Like a recent full sized larger chocolate bar version!! It is expensive compared to other chocolate bars, but I'll splurge and buy it just to eat it anyway.. yum)
Still as MUCH as I love Reese's PB Cups.. it STILL isn't enough to make me want to spread it on a piece of bread or whatever... ** As an aside, I also think Nutella is one of the most overrated products ever. Blah.

A bit of both . . .
Crunchy peanut butter on toast is still in my top 10.
Really into home popped popcorn at the moment, good for long studio sessions, gaming, movies, a true multipurpose snack.
Which crunchy Peanut butter though?
I go with meridian. They sell them in jumbo size containers!
I must admit LIDL's brand is on my list. Compatible with my small human and competitively priced.
LIDL Pecan Nuts hit the spot
Also I confess to loving Malt Loaf
Fushara
Lidl got that smooth and thick peanut butter.
It's nuts! Luh dat shit!
Been on a bit of a hot wing kick lately, which is odd for me as I'm not really a "wing guy". They're really good though.
A classic, but I just ripped one open today :
