£12 + postage though, so it's not a straightforward decision

I gave them a listen out of curiosity and while those are decent tunes the price is def too high for me.
Yet must be an odd feeling to buy Dillinja rettles in 2017

£12 for 2 tracks is a bit steep to me. I am looking to put another Omni vinyl out early next year (hopefully April), and most of it will have to be funded by pre-orders due to my lack of disposable income. However I have done all the costings and even with the fact that I have to take into account the 'extra' postage (over £300) to have them shipped to me here in Malta (it's free to ship them to the UK) I will still break even charging roughly £10 + postage, however, it will be 4 tracks not 2.
Speaking of this release, I have seen people on facebook complaining about the crap quality of the vinyl as it's warps and you can press the vinyl up and down on the turntable centre plate. It's caused quite a problem for many and it sounds like they're looking to get replacements. The fault is apparently that the pressing plant are busy and so in too much of a hurry and haven't given the plastic time to cool properly (apparently, I'm no expert, it was someone's explanation).

I actually ended up buying it and my copy is fine. But the price does leave a bit of an aftertaste. Especially seeing as Dom has been selling his Dubs From The Dungeons series for a tenner each.

Oh jolly ole I might get myself out of vinyl-buyer's retirement for that one. anyhow, good luck with that release Euphony

Overpriced. Probably garbage. Hangers on coat tails.
Never tell me you're a music lover if you can't be bothered to check out new artists...if you can't be bothered to explore.
And Malta is near Spain is it not? Still in Europe, so EU taxation applies. America is much worse at 32 dollars per half kg. Max £4 per vinyl box of 4 records equals multiplied by five = 200 records at £40 shipping meaning a usual run of three hundred records costs £65 flat out.
Malta is below Italy. The cheapest quote was just over £300. Ups wanted to charge over £1000!

Gahhh
Harmony gave me an angry smiley for complaining about the pricing
I actually bought the digital release, and I've bought the Dubs From the Dungeons releases as well.
Yeah, £12 is a little steep - but easily worth paying for a quality old Dillinja track like "Another Dimension" (for me anyway).
You have all seen the prices of 94/95 jungle on Discogs these days - right ? Even average tunes that aren't exactly rare seem to be going for way over the odds now.

definitely too expensive for those tracks
Not keen on this one at all. I only bought the last one cos Im a sucker for Apaches.
hey hey
Breathe and One For The Trouble...nice tunes tbh, but I'm happy I've got YouTube because I'm shit poor. So I will keep listening to them there. Breathe in particular I like ...well crafted arrangement.
As for the quality of tunes; it's always a pick n mix.
I couldn't say set of tunes A are stronger than B. A is just more "full" and B is less "hifi".
Well I grabbed the mp3's, which are quite cheap and unreleased dillinja should never go unrewarded so quite happy about that

Dillinja - King of the Beats/You There's already a gazillion pre-orders on bandcamp for this....
Music critic for the Tally Ho
I received it yesterday
All this autonomic nonsense fades away in comparison with You. Straight up.
