dilemma

since i'm makin music, i have been using logic on a pc to do my stuff, so i know the program fairly well by now and can work really fluently, getting my ideas out of my head in a speed, that doesn't completely kill them off.

my big problem now is, that i'd like to have all those nice cubase features like freezing, project folders and so on at my hands plus, i know that sooner or later i'll have to switch to cubase anyway, as i have no clue, how a mac actually works and i have no money.

has anyone on here done the step and switched from logic to cubase? if yes, what has been your experience? is it worth the training problems? is it hard getting used to? what do you recommend????
SX is proper bo I tell thee.

How difficult it is to make the transition I couldn't tell you, I've always had Cubase.
I have always been a cubase man, but I know Logic well enough to make a whole tune from scartch in it.

I can say that other than the most irritating things (ie. user interface and routeing), it is all the same. Okay, so you might press Ctrl-D in one and summink else in the other, but if you are doing everything in the computer it makes very little difference.

You don't say what version of Logic you are on - if you are on less than 5 you are missing out on multi outputs from VSTi's - Lovesmilie

Basically anything you can do with one can be done with the other - remember that if you are making tunes entirely in the computr, it is more about knowing the plugins than the sequencer anyway..

It has to be said that the automation in SX absolutely fucking rules so fucking much it is untrue. Best feature on anything ever. Even better than the slices in a loaf of bread.
