why the worst tho? the almond filling....... mmmmmmm. all almond croissants ive had from supermarkets are just croissants with a few flakes of almond on top. and as for greggs they just use fingernails from their employees.

i can't believe that anyone would dislike a carluccios almond croissant. its heresy. i've always found greggs to be arse but cheap, sainsburys semi-arse but reasonably priced and tescos acceptable.

even then, carluccios pastries aren't a patch on valeries in soho.

Greggs certainly fill a niche in the market, admittedly mainly for students and the terminally old but they are undeniably good value.

Personally, as much as I hate Starbucks as a symbol of US corporate whorism, their peach and raspberry muffins are something to be celebrated.
