use this topic to post your entries for the sc:digital release soundclash

if you want to put a track forward then just make a post in that sticky topic with the following information:

artist name (if different to forum username)
track name
link to track

sc:digital aims to promote diversity, so the tracks can be any style that you wish.

submissions will be accepted at any time

you can submit as many tracks as you like..

tracks must be:

- 10 minutes or less in length
- 320k mp3 format

free filehosting services are fine, but however you have the files hosted it is your responsibiity to ensure that the link stays live and is live for at least one whole month from when you post it, to give us a chance to download all the submissions.

Please could you submit full tracks for the soundclash, rather than clips? It's hard to decide what tune you like best when half of it is missing

Quite a nice track btw, although if it gets signed for a vinyl release it might be a struggle to cut it as the bass is heavily stereo chorussed.

I checked this, some nice ideas in there, but I found it frustrating that it distorts every time the bass hits cos of the heavy-handed limiting

I am a total snob though so don't take it the wrong way

lol thanks for the input. i'm working in shitty headphones so it's tough to tell when bass is distorted or not. i'll work on that. got another one i'll post in a bit.

When you do your limiting, assuming you use L1/L2 etc, use the little handle in the middle to pull the threshold AND output down together. Then you hear it all at the same subjective level and don't get fooled by the loudness into thinking it is better
