►BREAKS ROOM HEADLINER - CTRL_Z
► Never Say Die Records

Ctrl Z are a dance production duo hailing from London. Bursting on the scene in 2005, they have since become known for their unique brand of break beat infused electro – punk.

They have over 40 releases and remixes under their belts on respected labels such as Against the Grain, Lot49, Botchit & Scarper, Passenger, Functional, Rat Records and Hardcore Beats. It is no surprise that after only a year in the business, Ctrl Z had the honor of receiving two nominations for Best Breakthrough Act and Best Breakthrough Producer at the 2005 Breakspoll Awards.

Dash & Inch continued to receive praise and support from some of the biggest players in the scene, remixing and working alongside stalwarts such as The Freestylers, Tayo, Atomic Hooligan, Dreadzone and Dylan Rhymes amongst others.

Headlining events all over the world, their DJ sets have to be seen to be believed. Ctrl Z were the first Breaks act to be signed exclusively to the renowned Echo Location Agency where they were given the honor of supporting Pendulum their first ever live tour. In 2007 they were one of the main drawcards in Annie Nightingale’s Tent on the Opening night of the infamous Glastonbury festival and became residents at the legendary End club for DJ
Friction's Shogun Audio Night.

Always looking to take things to the next level Ctrl Z, alongside fellow bass aficionado and long time friend Nick Demus, have started their own label as an outlet for their ever changing and uncompromising sound: 'Never Say Die Records'. Launching the imprint with their much sought after collaboration with the Freestylers ‘Ruffneck 09’, the label is already making waves, with releases and remixes from artists such as Foreign Beggars, Reso, Excision & Datsik and of course the boys themselves.

►BREAKS ROOM HEADLINER – DJ JEPPA
► 2009 & 2010 UK DMC CHAMPION

DJ JEPPA's journey into the musically eclectic world of Turntablism began at the tender age of 12 when he was introduced to the art of scratching by British artists such as DJ Hype and Sy. Spurred on by these legends of the electronic music scene, by the age of just 16, Jeppa began to reveal his talent to the public, holding down residencies and performing to grateful audiences from the UK to the Canary Islands. In 2002 Jeppa discovered the DMC championships. Held annually with representatives from 27 countries across the globe, the DMC is the definitive world DJ championship. Only the cream of the crop make it through the local heats to take on the rest of the national talent before a champion is chosen to represent their home country. In 2004, Jeppa began his competition career, defeating 62 rival DJs in the well respected 'Turbo Promotions' DJ Comp. Filled with confidence, he decided his time had come to test his skills in the world renowned DMC championship, reaching the final of the London heat, held at London's 'Fabric' super-club. Since that day Jeppa has never looked back, competing in the UK heats every year since 2004 until in 2009, Jeppa was crowned UK champion. Now preparing himself for the world championships, to be held on his home turf of London, Jeppa is more impressive than ever before, demonstrating his lightning fast DJ skills at any given opportunity. His crowd pleasing tricks and eclectic music selection make Jeppa a favourite among fellow scratch fanatics and the uninitiated wider public alike. His dynamic style coupled with his jaw-dropping turntable skills make for excitement and intrigue in any setting. A wide range of influences and an astoundingly varied collection of musical genres mean Jeppa can please any audience and get the crowd moving.

► MetalHeadz, Grid, Sumo Beatz, Full Cycle, Ganja, Frontline, Co Lab, Propaganda, Digital Sound Boy, Creative Source, Intergral, Play Musik

DJ Heist (other aliases include Strider) has been established as DJ for over fifteen years and started producing tracks ten years ago. As a producer, he has released music on a variety of labels including MetalHeadz, Sumo Beatz, Full Cycle, Ganja, Frontline, Co Lab, Propaganda, Digital Sound Boy, Creative Source, Intergral, Play Musik and Grid to name but a few. Continually delivering quality tunes, he has become one of the names to know in the industry and has impressed the likes of Goldie, Groove Rider, Fabio, Adam F & Fresh, Hype, Original Sin, Mista Jam, Hazard, Bailey and many more. He expertly managed to balance his ever ambitious and superbly finished production projects while sticking to his first joy of DJing, playing out across the UK and Europe to an ever increasing fan base each and every time.

Heist is also coming into his own as a drum & bass personality of late with a variety of media coverage, showing he is one of the DJs pushing most into the public consciousness. This had included appearances in drum & bass literary mecca Knowledge Magazine where he created exclusive material for their ‘Studio Tips’ section as well as producing the front page featured mix CD for music industry favourite ATM magazine with hotly tipped MC Funsta. Other strong features that have been extremely well received by the public and industry alike are a massively popular D&BTV interview and various D&BTV DJ Sets for multi award winning global drum & bass brand Drum&Bass Arena, from his very own studio as well as holding his own live on Ministry of Sound radio alongside Bryan G and BBC Radio 1 with GrooveRider and BBC 1xtra with legendary Bailey. Recently Heist has been working on a variety of new collaborations and remixes, perhaps making this stage in his vocation the most exciting and productive yet. Last Year he Co Produced two Records with Taxman for DJ Hype, one on Ganja Records and one on Frontline Records. He also produced a solo single, also on Frontline Records which featured the massive 'Sleep in ya eyes' Cained on dub by just about anyone whos anyone in the scene. He also Produced a Remix for the mighty V records of a Roni Size Calssic - 'Windrush', again highly supported throughout the DnB Scene. He also remixed Lomax's 'Metal Flange' on Co Lab Recordings. With a New Solo EP ready to go on Goldie's Metalheadz Platinum, and also talks of being involved with the next Goldie LP, various 12 inchers scheduled for Propaganda, Creative Source, MainFrame, Co Lab, Calypso, Sumo Beatz, and more, things are looking very good for this Producer indeed!

►DnB ROOM - MANGA
► Cyntax Error Records

DJ Manga started out dj’ing at a friend’s house back in the mid 90’s. He was always listing to kool fm tapes that his friends used to bring to class after the weekend. He then moved on to play out at house parties and clubs all over London in the late 90’s. At the turn of the century Manga decided it was time to start building his own tracks (as all dj’s do at some point in their career)

While Manga was playing around at home in the studio he was also starting to play out at bigger and better clubs and also pirate radio stations, Notting Hill Carnival (studio one’s Stage), Hyper fm, UK-rumble, Rollercoaster and Pure Jungle to name a few. A few years on and still getting to grips with Drum ’n’ Bass production Manga had already been good friends with Dj SLB which in turn went on to working at NakedBeatz records, this is when he started playing SLB with his production. and was always getting tips here and there from a lot of different dj’s in and out of the industry (just go up to them and ask nicely)

This went on for another year or two before Manga decided it was time to start sending out CD’s to record labels for feed back mainly, if not more. Manga then came into work one Thursday or Friday afternoon and passed SLB two Cd’s with his latest jump up mayhem (as he did every two or three weeks) Funny thing was at that point in time a Dj walked into the shop by the name of Rekless and SLB gave him the CD’s Manga had just given to him about an hour prior to that.

Manga got a call from SLB the next day telling him that Rekless liked some of the tunes that were on the CD. Rekless was starting up a record Label with his long time partner in crime Dj Dazzler. This turned into an exclusive recording contract with the label now known and well respected CYNTAX ERROR RECORDS. By this time Manga had already decided to slow down his Dj work and appearances at nightclubs to so that he could concentrate more on his productions and build a properly equipped home recording studio. Now with some of his very own hard hitting Manga Jump Up style tunes being played all over the world Dj Manga is set to make his name and stamp it into the DnB industry.
