It's full of pictures of album covers and stuff that take up too much space on the screen, take too long to load, and make it harder to find anything. I don't want a bloody shopfront. I don't want to know what's popular or what's selling. The more popular it is, the less likely I am to want it. Just give me a list of relevant (to me) artists and titles, so I can skim through them quickly, and see whether there's anything I want. If I want to look for other stuff, I can look for it myself.
