This is fucking outrageous! first the smoking ban now the clubbing ban......what kind of dictatorship are we living under...kind of makes me glad i moved!! feckin pricks.....and wait till ya see there will be hardly any protests! how can they just pull this on us....its meant to come into effect on Wednesday?? two days? when was this announced - i presume today as i aint heard nothing till now....sneaky bastards!

Smoking ban is fine by me but the changing of club opening hours makes absolutely no sense.

I actually like the smoking ban! apart from the fact that the clubs n pubs stink of body odour!!! and if you have a small crowd in your club you will see all your crowd disappear out for a fag around every 15 mins!!!

My only problem with smoking bans is that it could mean the death of the sneaky spliff in a club. And that is a Very Bad Thing

i swear to god if this goes through im going to go on a rampage! i was very nearly tempted to hijack a camerman yesterday on the streets of brighton and have a rant at the state of irish society today and the lazy gardai!! well it would have got on the news!! and most likely me getting arrested again!!

perhaps it would be more productive if you did it in dublin.

1am closing is obscene. if nothing else it will hurt the tourist industry in dublin - stag parties and the like.
