gotta say its a lot better than war stories imo.. bit more varied, less whiney.


the chemical track with josh homme is sick, nocturnal too.
really like the classical piece on it, trouble in paradise.

waar stories was a bit of a grower for me, hd it in the car and listened to it a few times on work journeys, got better after a few listens

Don't really get them tbh; I liked the first album but arguably that was actually a DJ shadow album; I thought Never Never Land was a bit cack and so didn't buy another one after that; just sounds like lavelle trying to be a distinctly average rock band (imo imo etc)

I don't really see that he's got talent. I lost interest when DJ Shadow left the project. And now it seems even DJ Shadow doesn't have anything interesting left to say.

i would have to agree with that assessment. however, i havent listened to the one your talking about cube. will check it out to be fair ...
