Hey fellas,
Could do with a little help here, I'm using omnisphere for the pads on a track I'm making and I'm running into phase cancellation problems. When running the tune in stereo it sounds great with a nice full stereo image, but when I hit the mono switch the pads pretty much disappear. Perhaps part of the problem is the Chorus Delay module on Omnisphere, as turning the depth down on it seems to make the problem much less apparent, but then it loses a lot of the richness and width of the pad when running as a stereo track and that was part of what made the particular sound so appealing.
What I really need to know is if there are some steps I can take to reduce this problem... or is it something that I shouldn't worry about so much. The reason I ask is because when I check other peoples tracks they don't seem to suffer from it so badly, but still maintain a nice rich stereo image. I can't help feeling there is something fairly basic or obvious that I'm missing.
Any help and advice appreciated
