windows media player 11 and id3 tags

just upgraded to wmp11 and it seems there is no function to edit id3 tags in this version. don't see why would they do that but i cant find the option to edit the tags anywhere, anyone else had this problem or know if theres any way of sorting it tis really annoying me it was such a useful function to have.

had problems with wmp a while back (dont know which version), so just use itunes for it now

I've got to ask, why do you even use WMP?

well its always been fairly easy, reliable and convenient to use in the past i would say plus words cannot describe how much i detest i tunes

Yeah, itunes is a massive resource hog, I normally use foobar2000 it's not sexy but it does a lot. Oh and VLC it'll play anything.

If you remove the latest version of windows media player, it'll default back to version 10 Boss

Not sure of a way round it on version 11 because my knowledge of id tags is erm, well, just crap really.

I tried rolling back from 11 to 10.. a good many times.. so in the end i removed WMP from my pc..

Oh.. if u do decide to roll back.. there is a part of the version 11 u gotta keep or it wont work if i remember rightly..cant remember which part u gotta keep but in your add/remove programs list.. u will see 2 installations for wmp11.. and... its not the main one lol

as for media players.. i hate them and only use Realplayer ( yea i know ) for tuning into radio shows.. otherwise... if its a 16bit file.. i use my trusty little freebie single DJ deck... can grab it from my mediafire account here if u like

But that was a while ago now. Damn my old brain cells :P

WMP cant play 24 bit files, winamp gives the same icon for every file,so cant instantly tell if WAV, MP3, etc, (foobar has dif coloured icon for each file type so can instantly see, well useful whn doing all sorts of files), plays FLACS straight off, can covnert everything, super quick, light, free....
