Andyway, the new issue came thru the post yesterday. Ashtray Navigations on the cover and a 20 track CD (Wire Tapper 38]. I've sampled 5 tracks and they're solid. Even the noisier ones. They've varied the cover art this time too. Nice floral lines. Xyxthumbs
just started on #378 – nothing much stands out at the moment

I started reading the book 377. The opening page of books (reviews) is interesting; specifically for the Charles Cohen.
I will audiovisual it later (Mark Fell cover). Currently listening to a Sub Inomatia CDR given to Mr FL with a Drone Records package I ordered last year. Oophoi, Michael Northam et Al.
yurk, the new issue is out
I've got about nine pages of #378 to read and was hoping for a little break after that
but no, the next one is out already

I love Julia Holter.
back on the case (with #379)

Sonambient: Recordings of Harry Bertoia is fabulous stuff...

http://importantrecords.com/imprec/imprec419

...but do I really want an 11CD boxset for $100?

Chin
I'm enjoying the Annette Peacock feature. Read some of it out for a dictaphone recording over Ludovico Einaudi playing the piano music of John Calahan and enjoyed her insights into how prose is affected by complex pursuits to not sound like anyone else, to attack things from all directions, to never get fixed on a certain spot or position when creating artwork.

Of course, all art hsas a purpose, but I've also always preferred it when it's more perceptively free-flowing, concentrically jagged and haphazardly splayed, like a brush pushed into the bark of a silk ring tree.
I considered the Harry Bertoia Statts, if it's anything like this Roel_Funcken MixCloud mix I'd be happy to pay too, but I have so many Important (unipun) recordings and CDs before that release, and 11CDs is always a large amount to get through. The largest box set I got was the Fry memoir last year from my sister - and I'm still only halfway through that. Oops It's right good though, loike.

The last 5CD+ box I looked at was Jandek - The Song Of Morgan on Corwood Industries (he now sells direct) and the last box I fiinished was Surgeon - Tresor 3CD on Tresor. The elapsed tautology of a boxset is a liminal time expander I find, quite an oblique notion, like slipping through quicksand into another alternative dimension.
With that in mind, I hadn't even had access to your lists for yne last 4 months here - well, hoarding censorship or the gift of blindness is useful for keeping the brain active isn't it. Wink
Ifd you want to contribute a SubVersion chart as well yr welcome to do that, otherwise (it's only really 3-4 of us now) I will just do an End Of Year Reflections blog.
