"..I've been meaning to make a 'mix' like this for some time. I've made similar compilations/mixes for friends, in the past, but I thought it was about time I did a 'public' one.

Although I suppose I meant to make this collection as 'definitive' as I could, that's almost impossible given the breadth of Kirk's work. Above all, it's just meant to be an accessible starting point for newcomers to Kirk, given that his massive output over the decades - plus the plethora of monikers he uses - must be almost impossibly daunting for anyone casually browsing the web for info.

(I ought to make it clear this is done solely with the non-patronising intent of hopefully spreading the word about the artist who has been pretty much my 'main man' over the last 20 years.)
