Albini admits to a love of Minor Threat, outside of a disinterest of most 80's US hardcore punk, Chicago dance music in the 80's via Wax Trax Records, also how Adrian Sherwood almost produced BIG BLACK (!!), discussion of the importance & legacy of Southern Studios / Southern Records (UK), producing Fugazi, and much much more.

For real, one of the best live bands I've seen for the past bit, sound exactly like the recorded material. always a pleasure. lp's get better and better. I was never into their earliest stuff, but from "Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes" 2001 lp on, I've been down. full on. Huge of fan of I-Spy tho, and Swallowing Shit, pre-Propagandhi action from back in the day (G7 Welcoming Committee, R.I.P)
