like this one...relentless, circular yet not boring. nice werid pads about 4:30 in. you can tell its a system tune.

yes all the characteristics of a good krust tune are there, but somehow i'm a bit skeptical if the cohesion which is created with those characteristics is really there.

the weird noises are the best thing about it. the rest sounds far too linear for me to really give a crap about it though. where's the funk?

a quick review from me:

don't like the silly detuned vox that much, and the synth at the start sounds a bit uninspired -like he just hit a few presets and 'woo this sounds ok!' - compared to true stories it sounds a bit lifeless and lacking in a decent chord progression to open it.

main beat would be ok if the clip quality was decent -i'd be able to hear it and the sounds properly instead of 300 wanky jingles and super compressed quality on the clip.

it gets going later on in the clip when the better atmos comes in - that sounds properly done and the bleeps surrounding it compliment and create a spaced out texture.

i'm looking for something more though, and would like to hear more of it without interupption. the little switchups are also quite nice i must add.
so far the elements aren't as strong from what i hear to carry it so minimally, but i'll stop there - going into a full blown analytical stance about a patchy clip with lots of excess noise isn't the smartest idea and is generally a waste of time.

that's the same with me and the new dillinja tune [expansions].
some of the elements are good, just no better than what's gone before.
good nostalgia tunes all the same, if i can put it that way

this is fucking cool .... so near nice to hear a tune like this from krust that isn't just 'for the floor' don't get me wrong i would love to hear this out but he goes deeper and its not at all obvious ...

if anything this feels similar to the sound dbridge has pushed ... not necessarily groundbreaking but just really good rolling tunes ...
