i agree that the ideas in this tune could probably be condensed a bit. that's a grievance i have with most drum n bass.

but i like this tune because there are some pretty complex sounds but they don't necessary hit you over the head. they stay subdued in the background, if that makes any sense.

and that melody that comes in through the middle is amazing.

this tune is going to be a lot of fun to mix, i can say that much!

yeah,seems 2 be going back 2 his old vibe towards making music,at least on his forthcoming album which can only be a good thing

posting about it today cos I just got it on vinyl - sounds waaaaaaaaaaay better on vinyl than the CD version of it I've had for the last few years.

Couldn't justify spending £12 for it (it's on an EP with 3 tracks I don't really like) but Juno have a sale on at the moment - £2.12 !!!

Great track rest of album was pure meh, it also sounded like it was mastered by a deaf person (i got the download version)

I never listened through the rest of the album to see how the mastering was - 10 seconds of each track was enough to know I didn't like the tunes anyway ... didn't get long enough to judge mastering

but the mastering on "Choose Consciousness" was cack - I know that.
Literally no bass unless you boost yer low end EQ to +6 or something and the high end is waaaay too much. It sounds very thin.
Vinyl is decent though - can actually play this out now

I put this in one of my recently sets, its such a roller.

And Code i got mine for 50p on vinyl. Beat that!!!!

Know what you mean about the bass though, it's like non existence.
