One of my fave tunes...

Face Off (Director's Cut) is indeed badazz
sci-clone - el son
hidden agenda - redress
special forces - stealth

Falcon
wicked album, the die tune (footsteps?) is baaad too. Also like the sci clone and of course the paradox things on there. Vinyl cost a fortune as i remember.

same here, got second copy on ebay for a $5 Icon_eek and sold it of for bargain price $35 to one of the old subverts on here.

brilliant lp... it was last compilation of high calibre. the next one that will ever come out will be from sc ? Smile
SC compliation - classic concept! Cool
Looks like I'm alone here I didn't like the album and was expecting big things when I bought it, the paradox ttune is O.K. and the Alpha Omega one's cool too + the Goldie one, but apart from that I'm not into it.
like whoah--this board kicks ass!

Thanks so much for the recommendations. I am now completely psyched to pick this up.

It was released almost 4 years ago and I don't think there's better a better label compilation since...
I prefered Tuned In on CIA and the previous compilations that Reinforced put out are better, alot better.
"Tuned In" was solid yeah but I'm not still playing those tunes now while I still play stuff off the "Deadly Chambers Of Sound" all the time!

I'm not ashamed.
Do you think Deadly Chambers of Sound was better than Above the Law?

It isn't and it doesn't have the same longetivity, so there.

no Cool
Nice box though.
its a deadly album allright. the paradox tune on it is deadly. i used to play it constantly. i love the breakdown in it. the goldie tune on their is really good too.
Yeah illogical mesozoic has a wicked breakdown, the bongo's work so well in the mix! Shining down is good but isn't much different from the original (tempo is slightly higher!)
Above the Law is even better than Deadly chambers.I'll agree with u there.

Yes...one of his best more recent tunes. One of my favorites on the album.

"El Son," on the other hand, as some on this board will recall is...

Nevermind!

Regarding "Above the Law" and speaking of Die, the Wings tune on there is tremendous. One of my favorites.

I second Statto's horror. That album is the shit! And the AO track is indeed one of his finest moments... ruff!

So fill the Wigster full o' copper - fill im full o' lead!

(But the Goldie / J Trajik track is WACK - great intro and then all turns into speed-trance... )

john peel played this when it came out — after about six minutes he started wondering aloud "have i got this on at the right speed? it seems to be going on a bit..."

Hahaha
