Yeah right, ban bittorrent-clients and their developpement because they could be used for "copyright infringement", but at the same time keeping on pushing the developpement of more or less perverse new weapons that will kill countless people.

AFAIK the arrangement with the US to share the bank details of EU citizens to help prevent 'terror' was repealed sometime recently due to an EU court judgment...
